Scope
This document covers installation and commissioning notes for the LP-700 CartonPro and the CartonPro infeed module used in selected LP-750 PharmaLine configurations.
It is a mock source document for the LumaPak Service Copilot portfolio prototype. It is not a real machine manual.
Model Applicability
| Model | Applicability |
|---|---|
LP-700 CartonPro | Full applicability |
LP-720 SealCheck | Not applicable |
LP-750 PharmaLine | Applies only when configured with the CartonPro infeed module |
Installation Areas
| Area | Description | Service relevance |
|---|---|---|
| Station 1 | Carton magazine and blank pickup | Check carton stack condition before startup |
| Station 2 | Carton transfer and pre-folding | Verify timing during commissioning |
| Station 3 | Carton infeed inspection and guide alignment | Primary area for E142 troubleshooting |
| Station 4 | Product infeed handoff | Confirm synchronization with downstream modules |
| Station 5 | Discharge conveyor | Check for downstream backup |
Carton Infeed Setup
Before production startup, confirm:
- carton blanks match the approved format sheet
- left and right guide rails are aligned with the selected carton width
- the infeed belt is centered on the tracking roller
- carton stack pressure is sufficient but not excessive
- station 3 is clear of loose blanks or damaged cartons
After each carton-format change, repeat the guide-alignment check at station 3.
Belt Tracking Check
The infeed belt must be checked:
- during commissioning
- after belt replacement
- after repeated carton jams
- after any guide rail adjustment
- after transport or relocation of the machine
If belt tracking drifts after adjustment, inspect the belt kit and tracking roller. The standard replacement kit is LP-SP-70-BELT-INFEED-300.
Service Note
For LP-750 PharmaLine systems with the CartonPro infeed module, mechanical infeed faults can still use selected LP-700 troubleshooting steps. Validation-sensitive runs require extra care: document the maintenance action in the service case and do not bypass validation controls.
Source Facts for Copilot
- Station 3 is the carton infeed inspection and guide-alignment area.
E142relates to a carton infeed jam at station 3.- Infeed belt tracking must be verified after belt replacement or repeated carton jams.
LP-750 PharmaLinecan include the CartonPro infeed module.
LP-750 PharmaLine validation notes
Validation-sensitive escalation rules and lockout refusal guidance.
Version: 1.0 Document owner: LumaPak Technical Documentation Intended audience: certified dealers, field service engineers, site quality owners, and second-level service support
Scope
This document covers validation-sensitive support notes for LP-750 PharmaLine assets used in pharma packaging environments.
It is a mock source document for the LumaPak Service Copilot portfolio prototype. It is not a real machine manual, quality agreement, or validation protocol.

|---|---|
LP-700 CartonPro | Applies only when used as a module inside a PharmaLine configuration |
LP-720 SealCheck | Applies only when installed in the validated PharmaLine |
LP-750 PharmaLine | Full applicability |
Validation-Sensitive Rules
- Do not bypass validation lockouts, safety interlocks, electronic batch record holds, or audit trail controls.
- Maintenance during a validation-sensitive run must be documented in the service case.
- If the documentation does not confirm a safe action, escalate to the site quality owner or LumaPak second-level support.
- A chatbot answer must not replace site quality approval.
Relevant Error Guidance
| Code | Meaning | Recommended action | Escalation trigger |
|---|---|---|---|
E184 | Pharma carton transfer hesitation | Check transfer timing and verify the CartonPro infeed module status | If hesitation appears during validated batch run |
E271 | Validation air purge timeout | Confirm regulated air supply and check purge cycle status | If timeout happens during validated batch run |
E318 | Vision inspection lens contamination | Clean the lens according to the validation-safe cleaning procedure | If image quality remains below threshold |
E352 | Camera recipe mismatch | Confirm the active product recipe and check batch documentation | If mismatch affects a released batch |
E431 | Batch recipe download failed | Confirm network status and check recipe approval state | If recipe download fails during validated production |
E472 | Audit trail write delay | Pause noncritical changes and verify audit trail service status | If audit trail delay persists |

E566 | Electronic batch record hold active | Review the batch record hold reason with the site quality owner | If hold affects active production |
CartonPro Infeed Module Note
Some LP-750 PharmaLine assets include the CartonPro infeed module. In these configurations, selected LP-700 mechanical errors may apply. For example, E142 can occur on an LP-750 PharmaLine serial when the fault is located in the CartonPro infeed module.
If E142 occurs on a validation-sensitive pharma run, document the event and create a service case. Also create a service case if the fault recurs more than twice in one shift or appears after guide alignment.
Trust and Escalation
For the question "Can I bypass the validation lockout to keep the line running?", the approved answer is:
I cannot confirm or recommend bypassing a validation or safety lockout from the available documentation. For validation-sensitive pharma packaging environments, this should be escalated to LumaPak second-level support or your site quality owner.
Source Facts for Copilot
- Validation or safety lockouts must not be bypassed based on chatbot advice.
- Maintenance actions on validation-sensitive runs should be documented in the service case.
LP-750 PharmaLinecan include the CartonPro infeed module, so selectedLP-700mechanical errors may apply.
